What is Sequence Legends?
A strategy board game where every move matters
Sequence Legends brings the classic Sequence board game to your Android phone. It's a card game and a board game in one: every card in your hand is printed on the 10×10 board, so each card you play claims a space. Line up five chips in a row to make a sequence.
Think of it like tic-tac-toe — on a bigger board, with real playing cards deciding where you can move.

How to play Sequence: easy to learn, hard to master

Jacks are wild
As in the classic Sequence card game, two-eyed Jacks (diamonds and clubs) place your chip on any open space. One-eyed Jacks (hearts and spades) remove an opponent's chip — unless it's part of a completed sequence.
Strategy
Every move changes the board.
Good Sequence board game strategy means thinking ahead: build toward two lines at once, block a rival before their fifth chip lands, and save your Jacks for the turn that matters.

What is Sequence Legends?
Sequence Legends is a free Sequence board game app for Android — a card game and a board game in one. Play a card from your hand, place a chip on a matching space of the 10×10 board, and line up five chips in a row to make a sequence.
Is Sequence Legends free to play?
Yes. Sequence Legends is free to download and play, and it has no in-app purchases. The game shows ads, and the coins you spend in the shop are earned by playing — they can't be bought.
Is Sequence Legends available on Android and iPhone?
Sequence Legends is available for Android devices on Google Play. There is no iPhone (iOS) version at the moment.
How do you play Sequence?
On your turn, pick a card from your hand and the spaces it matches light up on the board. Tap one to place your chip, and a new card is dealt to you. Every card except the Jacks is printed twice on the board. See the four steps in How to Play, and replay the in-game tutorial any time from Settings.
How many sequences do you need to win?
Three. Be the first to complete three sequences — five of your chips in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally. One chip can count toward two sequences at once, as long as they run in different directions.
What do the Jacks do in Sequence?
Jacks are wild. A two-eyed Jack (diamonds or clubs) places your chip on any open space. A one-eyed Jack (hearts or spades) removes an opponent's chip, unless that chip is part of a completed sequence.
How do the corner spaces work?
The four corners of the board are free spaces that count for every player. A line that runs through a corner needs only four of your own chips to become a sequence.
What is a dead card?
A card is dead when both of its spaces on the board are already taken, so there's nowhere to play it. Swap it for a fresh card without losing your turn.
Is there a time limit for each turn?
In matches against the computer and in the Daily Challenge, each turn has a 60-second timer. If time runs out, a card is played for you automatically — never one of your Jacks. When you host an online or local Wi-Fi game, you can set the turn timer to 30 seconds, 60 seconds or off.
Can I undo a move or get a hint?
Yes, in matches against the computer. Undo takes back your last move once per game for 25 coins, and a hint points out the best move for 15 coins. If you're short of coins, you can watch an optional ad to earn 100 coins.
Can I play Sequence against the computer?
Yes. Pick one of four computer opponents: Easy (The Rookie), Medium (The Challenger), Hard (The Veteran) or Expert (The Grandmaster). Each is rated on attack, defence and foresight, and Expert plans two turns ahead.
What is the Daily Challenge?
Each day brings a new Daily Challenge: a match against the computer with the same setup for every player that day. Win it to earn 150 bonus coins on top of your usual match rewards.
What is AI Multiplayer?
AI Multiplayer lets you team up with computer players in a 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 match. Choose the difficulty and the table size, see who sits on each team, and play the whole match on your device.
Can I play Sequence online with friends?
Yes. Create an online room for 2 or 4 players — 4 players play as 2 vs 2 teams — and share the 6-character room code, or join a public room from the lobby. Online play needs an internet connection.
Can I play Sequence offline?
Yes. Matches against the computer, the Daily Challenge and AI Multiplayer run on your device without internet. Two players can also play over the same Wi-Fi network or a phone hotspot: one phone hosts and the other joins, with no internet or account needed.
How many players can play Sequence Legends?
It depends on the mode: 1 player against the computer, 2 or 4 players in an online room, 2 players over local Wi-Fi, and you plus computer teammates in 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 AI Multiplayer matches.
How do I earn coins?
Play matches, complete daily missions, unlock achievements, level up and claim your daily reward. The 7-day reward streak grows from 50 coins on day one to 1,500 coins on day seven. You can also watch an optional ad for 100 free coins.
What can I unlock with coins?
Coins buy chip skins — 24 collectible designs across Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary rarities, two of them free — and pay for undo and hints. All five board themes are free, and everything in the shop is cosmetic, so it never changes who wins.
Do I need an account to play?
No. Matches against the computer, AI Multiplayer and local Wi-Fi games need no account. Online play uses a guest profile with a display name but no email address or password, and signing out in Settings ends it. Read the Account & Data Deletion Policy for details.
